Spain

Spain brought another humiliating race for Charles Leclerc, finishing second last after a shock exit in Q1 and a pit lane start after wholesome changes. Carlos Sainz and Sergio Perez were once again solid yet not spectacular, providing a meek podium charge.

Alpine continued their hot streak of form, with Esteban Ocon backing up a heroic Monaco performance with a solid 8th place finish, with teammate Pierre Gasly and Zhou Guangyu rounding out the points finishes. A dazzling qualifying from the Maclaren's saw Lando Norris start on the second row, however an early pit stop saw the Englishman drop fourteen places and exacerbate a shocking season for Zak Brown and Maclaren fans worldwide.
